Sebastian Baez heeft zich geplaatst voor de finale van het ATP 250-toernooi in Boekarest. Hij won eenvoudig van Fucsovics (6-2, 6-2) en bereikt zo zijn derde finale op gravel in vier toernooien.

De Argentijn had eerder het toernooi van Rio (ATP 500) gewonnen tegen Muller (6-2, 6-3) en stond in de finale van Santiago (ATP 250) tegen Djere (6-4, 3-6, 7-5).

Baez neemt het in de finale op tegen Cobolli.
