Taylor Fritz heeft zijn debuut gemaakt op de ATP 250 in Delray Beach. De Amerikaan won met 7-6, 6-2 van Yunchaokete Bu.

Na een krappe eerste set won Fritz de tweede set dankzij een vroege break.

Hij is de grote favoriet in dit toernooi, dat hij al twee keer won, in 2024 en 2023.

Aanstaande vrijdag staat hij in de kwartfinales tegenover Alejandro Davidovitsj Fokina.
