Halep speelt haar afscheidswedstrijd in 2026

Simona Halep is sinds haar nederlaag op 4 februari 2025 in Cluj-Napoca tegen Lucia Bronzetti officieel met pensioen gegaan van het tennis.

De Roemeense heeft echter aangekondigd dat ze haar afscheidswedstrijd zal spelen op 13 juni 2026 in Cluj, tijdens het Sports Festival.

Het formaat van deze wedstrijd en de tegenstander zijn op dit moment nog onbekend.

The Dutch translation is sometimes not entirely correct. Clay as a tennis surface is 'gravel'. And matches about to start are indicated by 'soon'. That should be 'zo meteen' or something like that.
